ABOUT IRF
A
IRF is a film production company based in Los Angeles that specializes in feature films. IRF was founded by Rainy Kerwin in 2008 and is the production company behind the award-winning feature film "The Wedding Invitation" and "Assisted Suicide."
"Our mission is to create films that Entertain audiences, Inspire minds and Empower everyone involved. Producing films that provide a lucrative outcome, surrounded by a team of positive, creative professionals working together for a common passion and their love for the magic of movies, is what we do. If we're going to be on set for twelve hours a day, we may as well have a good time while we're there."

Rainy is the writer-director of the film "A Neighbor's Vendetta," a Tubi Original produced by FOX/MarVista Entertainment. The film premiered at number one on Tubi.
​
She is also the award-winning, writer-director-producer of "The Wedding Invitation," currently streaming on Amazon. The film earned 6 wins on the festival circuit and was distributed by Freestyle Releasing. She was an extremely hands-on producer with "The Wedding Invitation," overseeing everything from funding all the way through post-production and distribution.
As a writer, Rainy’s scripts have been shortlisted for the Meryl Streep Women In Film Lab and the PGA Proshow Awards. Two of her scripts placed in the top 12% of The Nicholl Fellowship.
Rainy is an actors’ director and loves working with talent. Performance is paramount in her films. She has directed and coached over 1,000 actors.

Rainy is a proud member of Film Fatales and the Alliance of Women Directors.
“I’ve always been mesmerized by movies, ever since I was a little girl in Winnipeg. The movie theater is my church. I love sitting in a dark room full of strangers and going on a journey. At my core, I am a storyteller. And I aspire to put ideas on the screen for the audience to witness real people, having real moments, with real dialogue. The truth! Whether it be comedic or dramatic, I'm always after the truth."
A lover of all things funny, Rainy is known as a bit of a prankster.
